Between your phone and your plan, the iPhone can cost a pretty penny to own. For a new customer, an iPhone will set you back $199 with a two-year contract. At minimum that costs you about $2,360 during two years of ownership. Since you've put down all that cash, do you really want to plunk down much more for your apps? We didn't think so.
