You may be aware how important is your iPhone’s serial number. It is a collection of interesting data like the manufacture date and factory ID. So it’s equally important to learn how to decode iPhone serial number.

The serial number on the iPhone also gives information about the week it was manufactured, the factory where it was made and things such as the color and the size of the storage.

First of all you need to locate the Serial Number and the simplest way to find it is to open your Settings app and navigate to General -> About -> Serial Number. The Serial Number can also be seen in the Summary tab in iTunes when you connect your iPhone to the computer.
