Whether you had to find a job years ago, are currently in the process of job hunting, or you’re looking at the prospect of job hunting in your near future, the one thing that every job hunter has in common is the need for a resume.
If you really think about it, what is a resume? Is it really all about stuffing as much information about yourself as possible on a single sheet of paper? Is it really about getting the formatting just so? The job hunting specialists may tell you that’s what matters. The counselors running the career center classes may tell you that your resume is the centerpiece of your job hunt. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s about time that job hunters get with the times. It’s time to do more than just write up a one-page resume and start mailing it out with applications. The Internet is a more powerful job-hunting force than people realize.
