This tutorial is going to teach you to create a database on your host, create tables within that database, and access and modify the information stored there through a form on your website. You will also be able to display the altered information thereafter, with a search function.

Starting a new database with the capacity to accept information from a php / html sources is not at all as difficult as may be perceived by the starting web designer; actually; with the free tools at your disposal in today’s world, it’s very straight forward.

 This will teach you the basis of how the tools work, a basis that you can work from, and, ultimately, a basis that is simple. This is how I learnt how to make a database that I could apply to a website in the first place, and I hope it teaches someone else the same.
