If you hadn’t known, the renowned mythological city of Atlantis was found by Google Maps back in 2009. Mind you, Google was adamant the image was just a result of a sensor glitch, and if the infamous city were really located at that point, some of the dimensions would have been impractical. Still, despite Google’s truthful admissions, Atlantis hunters from around the globe threw up their hands and rejoiced that someone had finally proven their lives were not wasted on chasing a place from fiction.
