Anyone who’s read Steve Krug’s web usability guide ‘Don’t Make Me Think’, will know that users expect a certain structure from a website. They certainly don’t expect something like this…Jan Ploch’s vertical scrolling portfolio site (above) is a great example of taking Krug’s core tenets and throwing them right out of the window.
With a significant nod to the j Query Scrolling Parallax plug-in by Jon Raasch, the liquid in the bottle is drained as you scroll further down the page.
It’s a great advert for Ploch’s services as a web designer.more...
